NEW: Mikis Theodorakis, his publisher Romanos and the publishing house Schott Music, Mainz, have signed a comprehensive partnership agreement, with immediate effect.

Romanos, who publish almost all works by Mikis Theodorakis, will as of now entrust Schott Music and its international subsidiaries with all production, marketing and distribution tasks for his works for hire and on sale. The two publishers will henceforth hold a joint copyright in publications.

Schott Music will as of now be the managing publisher for all sectors and countries, including Greece, as well as the contact for all media partners (orchestras, opera houses, music dealers and private customers.

Schott Music will be in charge, without any territorial limitation, of almost the complete works by Mikis Theodorakis, including his world-famous music for the ballet, Zorba the Greek.
